Review: Fortress was great to work with since the start. I had 8 companies visit and Fortress was my choice. Reasons for choosing them were first having a third party structural engineer look at my home and make a sound assertion of where the pillars need to be installed. Common rule of thumb is having them 5-8 feet apart depending on situation but other factors do come i to play which Fortress was able to explain. In addition, we had a GPR (Ground penetration radar) company locate all the interior beams to ensure we knew the actual concrete slab structure. This had a big part of the pier locations as my home was older and had beams further than the homes currently being built. Having to interact with April and Micheal was great as they helped me make decisions off of data and not just the common structural engineering knowledge. As the digging work was preformed, Raul and his crew were able to dig over 30 piers in 2 days in semi-inclement weather (light showers and cold weather). They were precise in the installation, made small holes, little mess inside and out and cleaned up property as if nothing major happened. In addition, they were very affordable in comparison to all of the other competition that offered a lifetime / transferable warranty. The types of piers that were installed on my home were steel piers. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing foundation work.

Review: It’s not all bad but I recommend looking elsewhere. I initially was very impressed by their communication and process, but that didn’t quite deliver:1) The initial quote I was given for hydrostatic testing changed even though I was told prices would only go down from the first quote.2) I appreciate that they involve a third party engineer but the engineer report was not followed and while I was sold a drainage item based on the report, no one let me know ahead when they decided to deviate from it.3) The follow up engineer voiced some concerns to me but still signed off.4) They told me they would come look to bring resolution but no showed twice so far with no communication, and going on three months later still have not been here to bring resolution.Ultimately it was disappointing, expensive experience.

Review: The foundation of our outdoor kitchen had moved and needed to be lifted. Our neighbor who used Fortress Foundation to fix their home foundation recommended them. Cathy was great, no pressure, no fear tactics, just facts on the right way to repair it. So impressed with the crew and staff – “Professional”Great communication, punctual, hard working, perfect clean up and just a pleasure to do business with. Highly Recommend !!!

Review: I was referred to Fortress Foundation Systems through my realtor, Beverly. We were in the negotiation period of purchasing a home and we needed a Foundation Inspection completed within 5 days, so I contacted Chris and he was out there the very next day! Review: Had a great experience with Chris and Blayne. They were very up front and honest with me and very clearly had my best interests in mind. They did not push me to do extensive and invasive repairs when there were other options that would meet my needs. Several other companies were quick to make an expensive recommendation without really listening to me or giving my house a thorough inspection. Chris and Blayne took the time to do all of this, even when it ended up that the solution would be a fairly small job.The work was not only done quickly but the crew also left the work area looking like they hadn’t been there at all. I can’t recommend the Fortress team highly enough.
